Dan DiMatteo, a Cape Cod Native is the Director of Operations and Licensed Realtor at EVO Real Estate Group.

Dan was a multi-Sport High School athlete, team captain and state champion at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, a National Honor Society Member, Grand Marshall and voting member on the Town of Dennis Recreation Committee. Competing in 3 national championships with Team Cape Cod to playing against the Cuban National Baseball team in Havanna ; Dan’s leadership skills were “under construction” early on.

Dan received his bachelor’s and Masters degree from Westfield State University and also played 4 years of college baseball, eventually being elected as team captain. While obtaining his Master’s degree, he also became an EMT and worked 911 calls for service in Springfield, MA, before transferring these skills to Nantucket Cottage Hospital, where he worked in the capacity of a Resource Support Technician. His duties could include assisting with saving a life, assisting with bringing a life into the world, or hopping aboard Coast Guard helicopters to transport patients to a higher standard of care. He has transported patients by air, land, and sea. It goes without being said that you are in good hands with Dan.

After 3 years of Emergency Medical service, Dan took his talents to Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where he worked alongside a team that launched a blockbuster Cystic Fibrosis drug that cured nearly 90% of the CF population here in the United States. At Vertex he worked on a variety of teams including Guidance & Patient Support, Commercial Business Unit, Corporate Communications, and eventually becoming the first non-MD/PhD to join the North American Medical Affairs team as their Strategy and Operations manager.

Having begun plumbing at 12 years old and coming from a family with decades of real estate, investment and construction experience that span roots across the Commonwealth, Dan decided to pivot full time into real estate, where he looks to bring his passion of excellence in customer service, loyalty, and integrity to everyone he works with.
